Welcome and happy 2024-25 school year! It is so exciting to see our campuses full of laughter and learning again. Whether you are new to Ravenswood or returning for the year, we look forward to the adventures ahead. 

Over the past few months, we have been listening and learning from all of you to prepare for this year. We brought family and community leaders together for a School Canvass and action planning meetings. We dove deep into our student data and heard directly from student leaders. We conducted a district-wide listening campaign with team members from every site and department. We are spreading the word about our Learner Profile – our shared vision of what we want to be true for students. And we did everything in service of our Ravenswood Promise: to provide an exceptional and transformative education for all. 

Based on your input, and to bring this Promise to life, our entire district will be focusing on three ‘big rocks’ this year:

We know we have a lot of work ahead before our Promise is our reality. Change takes time and we will not see the final outcome overnight. But your partnership and support is an essential part of this journey. By taking action together, we are building the educational experience that our students deserve.
